The Shore Drive, Arcadian Section of Myrtle Beach is separate from the mainstream of traffic with only condominiums located along the beach area. The Maisons~sur~Mer & A Place at the Beach IV are located on the beach with no roads to cross to get to the ocean. There is a fishing pier within walking distance and it is now South Carolina's largest.
The Maisons~sur~Mer & A Place at the Beach are within minutes of "Restaurant Row" which has the finest restaurants in the area. Many of the restaurants are the famous "Calabash" seafood buffets which are very popular. Adjacent to the "Restaurant Row" area are many entertainment attractions such as Dixie Stampede, Carolina Opry, Alabama Theater, Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach and The Palace.
Golf is available throughout the Myrtle Beach area with many great golf courses within minutes of the Shore Drive area. The area also has many miniature golf courses, go-cart tracks, batting cages, amusement parks, water parks, parasailing and fishing charters.
